Project Challenges

CapitaLand, a prominent real estate company, recognized the need to uplift the skills and capabilities of Singapore's retail sector, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Their challenge was to efficiently manage and facilitate a comprehensive SkillsFuture Queen Bee program, empowering SME retailers to access skill development opportunities and drive business transformation in a post-COVID economy.

To address this challenge, I developed a web application with the following objectives:

  • Streamline the management of classes, events, and seminars related to skills development.
  • Create an e-commerce portal for selling classes, ensuring a seamless registration and payment process.
  • Provide administrative tools to maintain control over content and user management.

The successful implementation of this web application has enabled CapitaLand to better serve its role as the SkillsFuture Queen Bee, supporting retailers in bridging their skills gaps and preparing for the future of retail.
